POSTERS • 2013—ONGOING
GALLERY EXIT SHOW
Posters created in my final semester at the University of Georgia for our class exit show.
While serving as my university's representative on the American Institute of Graphic Arts student board, I created this poster and web banner for a state-wide AIGA promotional event geared to increase student membership.
The goal of this poster project was to inform viewers of environmental issues and inspire activism as a result. Imagery came from collected outdoor leaves I photographed over a light table, creating an x-ray effect.
MIT recently developed solar generators inspired by the process of photosynthesis in leaves. I sought to fuse the foliage imagery with expressive typography to portray this biomimicry.
Madagascar experienced a locust infestation of devastating proportions back in 2013. I aimed to capture the viewer's interest by zooming in on the intricate patterns found on a consumed leaf.
