OVERVIEW
Wellspring is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to breaking the cycle of family homelessness. Following a successful rebrand, they were ready to translate their newly refreshed identity into the digital realm with a compelling website redesign. The goal? A user-friendly website that not only articulates their mission and services with clarity but also engages donors to support their crucial work.
DETAILS
An end-to-end website redesign beginning with a full analysis of market data, analytics, and user research, followed by mapping user pathways and developing tailored personas to guide our design process. Next we crafted a UX strategy, sitemap, and content outline, informing the creation of wireframes. Through iterative design, we established a flexible content pattern library for development, working to ensure brand consistency and the efficient delivery of an effective digital platform aligned with Wellspring's audience needs and organizational objectives.
STORYTELLING THROUGH DESIGN DETAIL
While crafting this website, we seized opportunities to weave narrative into design whenever possible. For example, as users scroll through the homepage the bold headline fractures, symbolizing the ultimate end of homelessness and vividly underscoring Wellspring's mission.
We also created a rapid counter animation that effectively communicates the scale of Wellspring’s impact, highlighting the vast number of people they have served. These motion elements not only enhance the user experience but convey the depth and urgency of Wellspring’s cause, inspiring action and empathy in visitors.
INFOGRAPHIC AS A GATEWAY
Within the Services section of the website, we created an interactive depiction of Wellspring's interlinked range of services. This infographic serves as a comprehensive snapshot and clickable portal, seamlessly directing users to relevant service pages on the website. By condensing this complex information into a single visual narrative, we enable users to navigate Wellspring's offerings with ease, fostering engagement and facilitating access to vital resources.

Lead designer. Contributed to the development of a UX strategy, sitemap, and wireframes and crafted prototypes for key site pages, utilizing the newly minted visual language to establish a modular system of content patterns that formed the basis of a versatile component library. Provided quality assurance and art direction during development to ensure brand and design consistency.
